Der Gasthof und Hotel Klosterbräu Schlehdorf kann auf eine lange Geschichte zurückblicken die bis auf das Jahr 1317 zurückverfolgt werden kann.In unserem, in 2012 komplett sanierten Haus, wurde die jahrhundertalte bayerische Tradition des Hauses mit mediterranen Elementen behutsam ergänzt. Direkt am Kochelsee gelegen, bietet sich eine wunderbare See-und Bergkulisse mit großzügigem Platzangebot. Unser Haus verfügt über 6 Einzelzimmer und 24 Doppelzimmer, 1 Appartement sowie über eine König Ludwig Suite und ein Fürstenzimmer - insgesamt 33 Zimmer. Unsere Gäste liegen uns am Herzen. Daher bieten wir neben einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre im Restaurant und auf den Zimmern auch feinste Küche mit stets frischen Zutaten, wenn möglich aus der Region. Durch die überschaubare Größe unseres Hauses stellt sich eine oft familiäre Nähe zu unseren Gästen ein.Diese Nähe und unser verbindlicher Umgang mit unseren Gästen, lädt sie ein, gerne immer wieder zu kommen. Enjoy a couple of quiet and relaxing days in the immediate vicinity to the romantic Kochel lake in the “Gasthof Klosterbräu”. The house can look back on a long history that can be traced back to 1317. Our room “Bräustüberl“ with arches and wall paintings invites small-sized and middle-sized parties in a cosy ambiance. For slightly larger events with dance and live music our “rosa Stüberl” and our winter garden with lake and mountain views offer sufficient space. Our spacious hall suits best for your large festivities. The rich breakfast and our Bavarian-style cooking, with mostly local ingredients, will strengthen you for activities in our region with its various destinations. As a matter of course we gladly invite hikers, mountain-bikers and motor-cyclists to stay with us. We offer the possibility to shelter your vehicle and a small repair shop. Our hotel possesses 60 beds and the rooms are cosy and spaciously fitted. Every room is equipped with shower and toilet. For special occasions the König-Ludwig room is at your disposal and will enchant you with its royal ambiance. On request, we provide families with shared rooms and holiday flats. During your holiday you will enjoy wonderful mountain views, the lake location and the various destinations in our surrounding: The open air museum will give you an idea about how the life used to be in the past. It shows all buildings in their original architecture. If you would like to enjoy art, you should visit the Franz Marc Museum. It shows paintings in all their beauty. How about a lake cruise, if the weather is nice? Discover the Kochel lake. Visit the monastery in Schlehdorf. It offers interesting insights. Enjoy the wonderful mountain views and go swimming in the Kochel lake. Would you like to experience the marvellous landscape of the Three Lake Region? We recommend a ride with the Herzogstand railway. A few other sights are castle Neuschwanstein, castle Linderhof, the German Museum, the Pinakothek, the zoo in Hellabrunn, the Bavaria film-studio or the German theatre.
